Can the average person taste the difference of a high end cup of coffee. I am going to rule out McDonald’s and Dunkin’ Donuts and refer to the more exotic blends from your Starbucks and Caribou’s and other Specialty Coffee Shops. Can a person discern between Sumatran and Columbian, Kona and Ethiopian, or is good coffee just that, good coffee? I realize there are “super tasters” and “coffee snobs”, but I am refering to the average “Joe” so to speak, can they really tell the difference? Cheers!

Hey there. Can anybody tell me, why coffee tastes better, if I buy it in a coffeeshop? For example: If I make myself coffe with exactly the Dunkin’ Donuts coffee ground, they use to make their coffee it doesn’t taste as good as the coffee they sell, by far not. Why? I mean; I used the same one? What do they make different? I have tried out making the coffee with about every ratio of coffee and water, but I really never got the taste! I hope anybody can help me!

How Do You Remove The Coffee Taste From A Travel Mug?

I have several travel mugs that I often fill with coffee and take with me in the car. The problem is that the cups quickly absorbed the taste of the coffee. Now if I put any other beverage, like tea, in the mugs all I can taste is stale coffee. I do wash my dishes very well with soap and water, so that is not the problem. It is just that the coffee is so strong I guess? Anyway, Can anyone please tell me how to remove this stale coffee taste from my travel mug?
